These easy sugar cookie bars are just as delicious as regular sugar cookies with hardly any work, that literally anyone can make!

This recipe is one of my childhood favorites 🥰

What you’ll need:

1 box Pillsbury™ Moist Supreme™ Funfetti™ cake mix

1/3 cup oil

2 eggs

3/4 cup Pillsbury™ Creamy Supreme™ Funfetti™ vanilla frosting

To Make your own buttercream :

½ cup unsalted butter, softened
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted
2 tablespoons milk
Cream room temperature butter with a hand mixer, the paddle attachment of a stand mixer, or a wooden spoon until smooth and fluffy. Gradually beat in confectioners' sugar until fully incorporated. Beat in vanilla extract.
Pour in milk and beat for an additional 3-4 minutes. Add food coloring, if using, and beat for thirty seconds until smooth or until desired color is reached.

steps

1 Heat oven to 375°F.
2 In large bowl, stir cake mix, oil and eggs with spoon until well mixed. Spray pan with cooking spray and Shape dough in a 9x13 pan or round pizza pan
3 Bake 8 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 1 minute
4 Spread frosting over warm cake. Immediately sprinkle each with candy sprinkles from frosting. Cut into squares or pizza slices.
